What a strange new world

I totally admit that i only scanned this and am uploading it to see how my scanbed handles acrylics. the answer is interestingly? it actually didn't kill the color too badly, but it did pick up paper texture. Also this is just a touch too big for ths can bed, and this is more or less the smallest size i work, so it may very well end up being that ALL of the paintings get photographed rather then scanned. no worries.

Anyway. This was an unsuccessful painting of a concept that struck me when we first had the first set of foster kittens out. Charlie, the orange one, stared up at tom's leg like it was the strangest fucking tree that ever happened. then katie came on the scene.

Composition is an issue in this one, but i enjoyed the process. this is way more 'what i do', if that makes sense.
